Balan Plus protects customer, guest, provider, booking, payment, and invoice information across hotel bookings, rental houses, event halls, and grooming services.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Balan Plus collects, stores, protects, and uses information when customers, guest users, providers, and administrators use the platform. The policy applies to hotel bookings, rental house requests, event hall reservations, grooming service appointments, payments, invoices, accounts, and related communications.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the platform, and limited technical information needed to operate the website.

  • Identity and contact details such as name, phone number, email address, district, neighborhood, and account role.
  • Booking details such as service type, provider, date, guest count, rooms, capacity, location, selected service, booking ID, and special requests.
  • Provider details such as business name, listing category, address, service descriptions, verification documents, payout details, and listing availability.
  • Payment and invoice details such as transaction ID, payment method, status, amount, invoice number, refund status, and payment history.
  • Technical details such as browser type, device information, basic usage events, cookies, and local storage values used to keep the site functional.

How We Use Your Information

We use information to provide, secure, improve, and support the Balan Plus marketplace. This includes creating accounts, verifying providers, processing bookings, preparing payments, generating invoices, sending booking updates, preventing misuse, and helping customers and providers communicate about services.

Booking Information

When you book or request hotels, rental houses, event halls, or grooming services, we collect the details required to identify the service, customer, provider, schedule, quantity, price, and booking status. Booking information may be shown to the relevant provider so they can confirm availability, prepare the service, contact the customer when necessary, and maintain accurate booking records.

Guest Booking Information

Guest Bookings allow users to make a booking without a registered customer account. For Guest Bookings, we collect the name, email, phone number, selected service, booking details, payment status, and invoice details needed to complete and support the booking. Guest Booking information is stored separately from registered account profile data where possible, but it may still be linked to payment, invoice, provider, and support records.

Payment Information

Payment information is used to process booking charges, show payment status, calculate provider balances, record commissions, support refunds, and generate invoices. The frontend is designed for tokenized backend processing. Sensitive card numbers, Waafi credentials, and PINs should not be stored by Balan Plus pages. Payment providers may process payment credentials under their own security and privacy terms.

Invoice Information

Invoices may include customer name, email, provider name, service description, booking ID, transaction ID, payment method, payment status, amount, date, and invoice number. We use invoice information to provide receipts, support accounting, resolve disputes, help providers track revenue, and allow customers to access payment records.

Provider Information

Providers may submit personal, business, location, service, listing, verification, and financial information. We use this information to create provider accounts, verify service providers, publish listings, manage bookings, calculate commissions, support withdrawals, and communicate about platform operations. Public listing information may be visible to customers, while verification documents and sensitive finance details are restricted to authorized platform use.

Customer Information

Customer information may include profile details, contact information, saved listings, searches, booking history, payment history, invoices, refund requests, reviews, and communication preferences. We use this information to personalize service discovery, manage bookings, provide support, improve safety, and maintain accurate customer records.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Balan Plus may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to remember theme settings, account role, pending bookings, payment state, saved listings, session preferences, and basic website behavior. These technologies help the site work correctly and improve user experience. You may control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect core website features.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. Security practices include limiting access to sensitive records, using secure payment flows, separating payment credentials from platform records where possible, and keeping booking and invoice information available only for legitimate platform purposes. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their passwords and never share payment PINs.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain booking and invoice records, resolve disputes, comply with legal or accounting obligations, prevent fraud, and support provider/customer history. Guest Booking, payment, invoice, and provider verification records may be retained even after a service is completed if they are needed for financial, support, or security reasons.

Sharing of Information

We share information only when needed to operate the platform, complete a booking, process a payment, generate an invoice, verify a provider, provide customer support, comply with law, or protect the rights and safety of Balan Plus users.

  • Providers receive booking and customer contact details needed to fulfill a service.
  • Customers may see provider listing, contact, location, booking, and invoice-related information.
  • Payment processors receive payment details needed to authorize or complete a transaction.
  • Administrators may access customer, provider, booking, payment, refund, and invoice records for legitimate platform operations.

Third-Party Services

The platform may use third-party services for payments, maps, hosting, analytics, email delivery, SMS/OTP verification, communication, and support. These services may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies. Balan Plus works to share only the information required for the relevant service.

User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of certain records, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your information. Some records, such as invoices, payment logs, fraud-prevention information, and legal accounting records, may need to be retained even after a deletion request.

Account & Guest Booking Privacy

Registered accounts allow Balan Plus to connect bookings, payments, invoices, saved listings, and preferences to a profile. Guest Bookings are designed for users who do not want to create an account, but booking, payment, invoice, provider, and support information is still collected and stored to complete the service. If a guest later creates an account with the same contact information, related records may be associated where appropriate.

Email Communications

We may send emails related to account creation, booking updates, payment confirmations, invoices, refunds, provider verification, security notices, support messages, and important platform changes. Marketing or promotional messages may include a way to opt out, but service, security, payment, and invoice emails may still be sent when necessary.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, services, payment features, provider tools, or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the website or email.
